A Lifetime of Wellness

At all stages of life from, puppy to senior, the health of your dog is important for you and your family.

What's normal?

  • Body temperature = 100.5 to 102.5*F (38-39.2*C)
  • Heart rate = 70 to 120 beats per minute
  • Respiration = 18 to 34 breaths per minute

Feline wellness is important to you and your family at all stages of your cat's life from kitten to senior

What's normal?

  • Body temperature = 100.5 to 102.5*F (38-39.2*C)
  • Heart rate = 120 to 140 beats per minute
  • Respiration = 16 to 40 breaths per minute

All pets need regular examinations to detect and prevent many health problems.  Vaccinations for protection against infectious diseases, parasite control, proper nutrition, breeding prevention, diagnostic screening and dental care can increase longevity and improve quality of life.  We also recommend HOMEAGAIN Microchip placement to increase the chance of pet recovery after loss or theft.

Behavioral issues including destructive behavior, aggression and unruly conduct are the primary causes of surrender of dogs by owners to animal shelters and rescue organizations.  Each year many of these dogs are euthanized because they are unadoptable.  Obedience training, socialization and desensiting as well as activities such as agility competition, search and rescue and therapy dog certification can make your dog a life long companion that can go anywhere.
